The
Service Robot Plateform with Robotic Arm
is a perfect robot system for research and development in automation, service robotics, cognitive sciences. A 4 DOF arm mounted on a omnidirectional platform provides the necessary flexibility, the integrated Linux board allows convenient development. The SRPlatform consists of the omnidirectional platform Slider, which is able to carry up to 8 kg of payload. On its upper deck the four axis robot arm Mover4 is mounted. In this configuration the SRPlatform is able to fetch things from the ground, deposit them on the Slider deck, or sort them in storage. The arm can lift up to 500 g with a reach of 550 mm including the gripper.

The
Omnidirectional Plattform Slider Complete Kit
is able to do omnidirectional movements with its mecanum wheels. Rotation, sideways movement and forward / backward, everything is possible.
Construction
The Slider is based upon a rugged aluminum chassis. The upper sheet can be unfastened to provide access to the interiors. The sheet is equipped with holes at 40 mm distance. These holes can get transformed into M4 threads, or used as M3 through boring. The chassis offers lots of space for batteries and control electronics.
Control and Interfaces
The internal control electronics can move the robot forward/backward and sideways, and rotate on the spot. The electronics transform directions into rotational speeds for the four mecanum wheels. Alternatively you can control the four wheels directly via the CAN bus. The control is based on an ARM-Cortex board (panda-board) with the Linux / Ubuntu operating system.
Software and ROS-lnterface
The slider comes with test software for Windows. ROS packages are also available for this platform.

The
Robot Arm Mover4 Starter Set
is a robot arm that has been designed especially to meet the needs of schools, universities and R&D institutions. The starter set contains everything to dive into robotics. The Mover4 robot arm allows replaying automation scenarios close to reality and can be used as a motion platform to connect physics, math and computer science with reality. With its four axes it can move free in space and turn it's hand. Different tools can be attached to the flange, e.g. a two finger gripper or an electromagnet. With the gripper the robot has a reach of 550 mm and a payload of 500 g. The Starter set comes with the two finger gripper.
Communication
The robot arm is controlled via USB by a standard PC or laptop. The programming environment CPRog provides versatile interaction possibilities, but also allows an easy entry. Packages for the Robot Operating System (ROS) are available and allow the combination of the arm with state of the art robotics software.
Mover4 comes with the necessary software to allow an easy entry, but also realistic robot programming. With CPRog you can move and program the robot, simulate in 3D and use the graphical program editor.
