The Phidgets Vibration Sensor buffers a piezoelectric transducer. As the transducer is displaced from the mechanical neutral axis, bending creates strain within the piezoelectric element and generates voltages. Comes with a 60cm sensor cable. This sensor is intended to be used with the Phidgets Sensor Interface Kit 8/8/8 (RB-Phi-04) - Analog input, but can also be used with any microcontroller offering ADC input.
