This is the Advanced Robotic Manipulator (ARM 2.0). This ARM 2.0 improves on the original arm with closed-loop control, stiffer structure. This 6 degree of freedom arm uses Torxis linear servos and rotary servos to provide an operation envelope of 9 ft in diameter. All joints operate in a closed loop mode and a master controller is included with USB connector. Free software utility allows training of the ARM to cycle through positions and allows tailoring of velocity and acceleration. Program memory allows for un-tethered (dis-connected from PC) operation. All joints are PWM ready if you choose to command from your microcontroller and bypass the supplied servo sequencer. All joints utilize absolute feedback.
