The Basic Micro BasicATOM Pro 40-M Microcontroller Module is based on a powerful 32 bit processor with more hardware and a 20% speed increased compared to the Basic ATOM Pro 24 or 28 pin modules. It includes 56K of Flash, 4K of RAM, 4Kbytes EEPROM and 2 Hardware UARTs. It is Programmable in BASIC, C or ASM. It is ideal for robotics applications requiring multi-tasking. Several of its must have features include 2 hardware UARTS (Serial Ports), up to 6 hardware PWM, background controlled servo commands, true 32 bit floating point and integer math. It is capable of running up to 16 servos and monitoring its 2 hardware UARTS and performing complex floating point math calculations without a hiccup. It can be programmed from a simple RS232 serial port. Only 4 connections are required to the RS232 DB9 cable. You can also use a USB to serial adapter or a Basic Micro development board. In addition you will need to supply 6 to 9VDC to the module.
