The programming language is a powerful version of BASIC which is easier and faster to learn than C or the Sketch language used for the Arduino. The Mad Hatter processor is equipped with 56K of flash to store your programs, 4K of RAM for variables, two dedicated UARTS and hardware based 32 bit math.
