Everybody loves Keepon, the little yellow dancing robot. It was developed by Hideki Kozima at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) in Kyoto, Japan. Currently it is intended for research, especially in education with autistic children, and costs several thousand dollars.

You can see the very cute robot with its camera eyes and microphone nose dance in the streets of Tokyo in the video below.

I you are already wanting to get your own, you are in luck… A commercial version is soon to be released for 40$ .

    Hey, have you guys managed to check out My Keepon now he’s out? We’ve been hearing some very mixed feelings on him (we run a fan site) and wondered what your thoughts were?
