Manoï at the helm

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

The Manoï robot is known for its various dance skills.

We have already shown you it dancing to Japonese rap and spinning upside down on its head.

Now it’s back with a new, rather original exercise.

It moves in synchronicity with a dancer and a second humanoid robot which is life-sized.

Manoi never ceases to surprise day after day.

Manoi, dancer and rapper

Here is the Asian Michael Jackson reincarnated in Manoï robot, which is also a stunt performer.

This all makes this little Manoi robot simply amazing.

It dances to the rhythm of the music then turns its head back, with both feet up in the air.

Maybe if a full size person version is built, it can be invited to participate in So You Think You Can Dance :-)

Robot Catwoman Manoi

Admire this magnificent robot, Manoï AT01, customized as a robot cat.

An improved version of Manoi danced at Clarkson University.

It’s a real mini robotic Catwoman dancing gracefully and with especially surprising speed for a robot.

She moves quickly but doesn’t fall. Mind-blowing.

Her performance is based on a song from the cartoon, Heart Catch Precure.
