Payment Methods

Credit card: In order to pay by credit card, you will be required to enter your credit card number with the date of expiry once you reach Checkout. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express (American Express is only accepted in US funds). If you would like more information concerning our secure payment method, please read the Security & Privacy section. If you are not comfortable making a payment online, you can reach us by phone (at 1-866-627-3178) or by fax (at 450-420-1447) and use your credit card that way.

We do perform screening checks for all credit card transactions. Please make sure your address and phone number match those associated with your credit card statement in order to avoid any delays. The majority of the orders can be processed and confirmed the same day. If we have questions or need a confirmation, we will contact you.

Certified check or money order: It is also possible to pay for your order with a certified check issued by your bank, or via money order issued by Canada Post. These payment methods are only accepted for orders to be delivered in Canada. You can choose this method directly during the online payment process. Your item will be reserved for up to 5 days prior to arrival of your check. One week following receipt of your certified cheque or money order, your order will be shipped out. Certified cheques or money orders cannot be used for pick-ups at our warehouse. We require one week for payment to clear.

Paypal: It is also possible to make an electronic balance transfer via PayPal to: sales@robotshop.com/ca. You can choose this method directly during the online payment process. If this is a special order, please send us either an email at this same address, contact us at 1-866-627-3178 or send a fax to 450-420-1447 indicating your order. Once your purchase has been accepted, you can proceed with your payment. If you have any problems with this procedure, a message will follow from RobotShop explaining how to pay your order via PayPal. Please note that payments made through Paypal are processed immediately, even if we can’t ship immediately (because the item is out of stock per example). If you would like to be charged only when we ship your order, we suggest paying by directly via Credit Card instead of PayPal.


Wire Transfer: It is also possible to make a wire transfer directly to RobotShop’s bank account. You can choose this method directly during the online payment process. Once your purchase has been accepted, we will send you the information you need to make the transfer. Transaction fees (20$) are applicable with this payment method for all orders under 500$.

Purchase Orders: Purchase orders are only accepted for Canadian and American Schools and governments. The Purchase Order needs to be on the school letterhead and signed by the purchasing department with an official purchase number on it. You may send it by fax at 450-420-1447. Terms: 30-day net (Past due invoices will be billed for interest at a rate of 2% per month). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Purchase order in cases where an account has an outstanding balance.
