The Kondo Animal Series - Turtle Robot is an assembly kit. It is easy to make and features joint stability, simple structure and unique multi-leg gym. This new robot has four legs, each with two servos, plus a pannable head, adding up to a total of nine degrees of freedom. The servos are Kondo KRS-4024SHV, and the robot controller is the RCB-3HV. As much as possible, they've stuck with standard KHR robot parts, though the base mounting bracket appears to be a new design. It may not look pretty, and in fact doesn't even have feet, but that just provides opportunties for customers to add their own creativity and skill.

Kondo, a company known for creating intricate and detailed robots, has come out with this Turtle, which is the first of the Kondo Animal Series. This mobile and undeniably cute little turtle-bot moves around quickly, unlike its flesh-and-blood counterpart. From waving its arms and legs to scurrying along the table, this Turtle will make a great pet.

It is the first robot in Kondo’s animal robot series, and he’s a cute little bugger. A set of servos power along the mechanical reptile, who manages to scurry along much faster than most real turtles. This Multi-legged robot is stable to walk compared with biped robot and even low powered servo motor can move the body. Therefore multi-legged robot is suitable such a survival game of robot because it can load some equipments such as toy gun, camera etc.

Kondo's bipedal robots have always filled us with a sense of awe, whether they're duking it out in the arena or practicing touchscreen moves. Kondo is touting the fact that you can add additional functionality using stock servos and brackets. The robot is compatible with the KRC-2AD remote control. In addition to all the parts and software required to construct the robot, Kondo will also provide sample motions. It’s a fairly simple robot, with only nine joints and a lack of cameras or sensors.
