The RoboGuardian Roomba Remote Surveillance App provides remote mobile surveillance using
your robot and an iPod. No need to worry about leaving your pets behind
for the day anymore. Now you can check that they are safe and sound
using your smart phone or any other device with a web browser and
Internet connectivity. Perfect for monitoring your home remotely while
you're away.
The following components are required to run RoboGuardian:
- Client computer or device running any operating system with the Safari Web browser and Internet connectivity (Optimized for iPad running iOS with Safari).
- Server computer running Windows XP, Vista or 7 with Bluetooth wireless, Internet connectivity, and a HTTP server (Optimized for Apache HTTP Server).
- Roomba (any model manufactured after October 2005) or Create.
- RooTooth Bluetooth device for Roomba or Create, or BAM Bluetooth device for Create.
- USB serial cable.
- iPod touch 4th generation with mounting device and the Wireless Camera application.
- Solar charger for iPod touch with adhesive Velcro.
