This is the Cyclopes Real-Time 3D Imaging Camera. It is the patent pending infrared intensity matrix technology in conjunction with ambient light control that enables a robust and an affordable 3D imaging for various industrial needs such as entertainment, automobile, robotics, industrial automation, etc. The infrared vision based approach approximates depth and motion through the reflection of IR light off an object captured by a lens with the appropriate IR filter. The compact module is a reliable mechanism, for human use or on a robot, interacts with a computer without the need for physical contact. IPA 1100 allows short range man-machine interaction from 1cm to 50cm, with up to 30 frames per second.
