All products sold by RobotShop are of good quality and are considered as being reliable. On the other hand, RobotShop warns against their use in an application, in a medical tool or system, in any domestic, commercial or industrial product where an error could result in harm or even death of a human being or an animal.

The primary responsibility for the use or operation of a robot (or its technology) in the presence of human beings falls on the user.

Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel or modify an order, you must advise RobotShop as soon as possible. You may contact us via the RobotShop Support Center or by dialing 450-420-1446, or our toll-free number 1-866-627-3178 (within North America). We will verify the status of your order and make any necessary changes without any charges.

We put a lot of effort into delivering our products rapidly; it may happen that your order has already been sent out when you contact us. If this should occur and you still wish to return a product, please refer to the Returns section.

RobotShop reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases where an account has an outstanding balance.

RobotShop Inc. does offer discounts for most products with quantity purchase. Discounted prices are indicated on the website.

If you require multiple items and the total is over $1,000.00, please ask for a quotation and we will determine if a discount can be provided or not. At that time, the nature of your order, any repeat business and the possibility of an ongoing partnership will all be evaluated in order to offer you the best possible price.


The warranty conditions are those offered by the manufacturers. You may communicate with RobotShop or directly with the manufacturer. RobotShop is a reseller of many products and is not responsible in any case for the failure of a product manufactured by another company.

However, in the spirit of always wanting to better serve its clients, RobotShop is willing to serve as an intermediary to exchange and communicate with the manufacturer in order to ensure that the client receives a satisfying service for which he paid. Along these lines, RobotShop does not tolerate suppliers that do not take responsibility for their defective products.

5 years warranty on a large selection of domestic robots

RobotShop 5 Years Warranty

The RobotShop 5 Years Warranty is applicable on certain selected items only, such as all Robot Vacuums for example the iRobot Roomba robot vacuums, the Neato Robotics robot vacuums, some Pet Care Products such as the Litter-Robot and some Robot Floor Cleaners . This warranty is applicable for a normal non-commercial use of these products only.

This warranty is supported directly by the RobotShop Robot Repair Center. If a product is covered by the RobotShop 5 Years Warranty, it will be indicated in the product description.

RobotShop repairs or replaces the defective product free of charge, during its useful lifespan (5 years for Domestic Robots) if the defect is caused by a problem with the material or manufacturing of the product. Normal maintenance of the item is not covered by this warranty (such as the replacement of the battery, brushes, filters etc.) An excessive use of the robot will cancel the warranty just as the fact of opening or modifying of the unit. Shipping to and from RobotShop are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact us for an RMA # along with a proof of purchase.

Robot Kits:
It is important to note that robot kits may not be exchanged or refunded once they are assembled in part or in entirety. Only defective components will be replaced if the need arises. Along these lines, please carefully read the construction instructions for the robot and ensure that they are understood before commencing construction. Work carefully on a clean table and take regular breaks in order to maintain your concentration. Our manufacturers provide the necessary instructions for proper construction of their robot kits but can not be held responsible for mistakes made by the builder.

Specialized Components:
The same goes for all specialized components and robot parts. All products sent back to RobotShop on warranty will be inspected in order to determine if the problem was caused by a manufacturing problem and not improper use.

Payment Methods

Credit card: In order to pay by credit card, you will be required to enter your credit card number with the date of expiry once you reach Checkout. We accept Visa and MasterCard. If you would like more information concerning our secure payment method, please read the Security & Privacy section. If you are not comfortable making a payment online, you can reach us by phone (at 1-866-627-3178) or by fax (at 450-420-1447) and use your credit card that way.

We do perform screening checks for all credit card transactions. Please make sure your address and phone number match those associated with your credit card statement in order to avoid any delays. The majority of the orders can be processed and confirmed the same day. If we have questions or need a confirmation, we will contact you.

Certified check or money order: It is also possible to pay for your order with a certified check issued by your Canadian or U.S.A. bank, or via money order, either domestic money order issued by Canada Post or international money order from USPS. You can choose this method directly during the online payment process. Your item will be reserved for up to 5 days prior to arrival of your certified check or money order. One week following receipt of your certified check or money order, your order will be shipped out. This payment method is only available for shipping addresses in Canada and in the U.S.A.

Paypal: It is also possible to pay via PayPal. You can choose this method directly during the online payment process. Please note that payments made through Paypal are processed immediately, even if we can't ship immediately (because the item is out of stock for example). If you would like to be charged only when we ship your order, we suggest paying directly via Credit Card instead of PayPal.

Wire Transfer: It is also possible to pay by bank transfer. You can choose this method directly during the online payment process. Your products will be reserved for 5 days waiting for your bank transfer. Transaction fees (20$) are applicable with this payment method for all orders under 500$.

Purchase Orders: Purchase orders are only accepted for American Schools and governments. The Purchase Order needs to be on the school letterhead and signed by the purchasing department with an official purchase number on it. You may send it by fax at 450-420-1447. Terms: 30-day net. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Purchase order in cases where an account has an outstanding balance.

The prices indicated do not include taxes (if applicable) or shipping and handling fees.

Our prices may vary or change slightly, without notice, in function of price changes from our suppliers or manufacturers. Our prices might contain typographical errors. If an error should occur, we reserve the right either to honour that price, inform the customer of the reason for such an error and correct the situation by asking the customer whether the order should stand at the revised price or be cancelled.


If you are not satisfied with a product you bought at RobotShop, for whatever reason, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days of receipt (90 days for an exchange for another product or for an in-store credit). You must first advise us by email: supportcenter@robotshop.com. RobotShop will provide you with a RMA number. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained a RMA number. The product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and a small note for the reason of the return and your RMA number. The note will help us to serve you better and improve our products. Reimbursement will be denied for any products which do not conform to the abovementioned conditions. Build-it-yourself robot kits are not refundable once assembled. Robot parts requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 days of receiving the product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees (25$) may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned. Restocking fees of 20% will be charged on special orders only.

RobotShop insists on reassuring you about the security of our transactional Web site. All payments made on our site by credit card are processed via proven tokenization techniques by CyberSource.

CyberSource uses payment tokenization eliminating payment data and ensuring that your sensitive personal information isn't compromised during a security breach.

All information sent to your bank, such as your credit card number, are also encrypted according to industry standards. To ensure client confidentiality, CyberSource will never sell, rent or divulge any of the personal information taken from the transactions to any entity other than RobotShop and your bank, in the case of any disagreement concerning your transactions. RobotShop would also like to assure you that any personal information gathered in the membership section is subject to strict confidentiality. RobotShop also engages itself to never disclose any information concerning its customers to third parties.

Email Address:

When you place an order at RobotShop, your email address is also collected in order to send you a copy of your invoice and a tracking number during delivery of your purchase. This email address is also conserved in our database in order to serve you better. If you also register for the RobotShop newsletter, your email will also be used to send you the monthly RobotShop news.


To improve your online experience with RobotShop, the majority of our pages use 'cookies'. These cookies can in no way divulge personal information and can not be used to deliver or activate a virus. If you want to know the shipping cost to your location, add the items you want to order to your cart. You will be able to calculate your shipping rates directly in your cart with the option Estimate Shipping and Tax. This is fast and easy. We usually handle all orders within 24 hours. If the item is not in stock, you will be informed before ordering.

Shipping in Canada: We do not ship to Canada via this website. Please visit www.robotshop.com/ca.

Shipping in the USA: We do ship everywhere in the USA via UPS. Standard delivery (i.e., UPS Ground) is free for orders of $200 or more, and $9 for orders under $200.

Since UPS does not deliver to PO boxes, we may use USPS if your address is a PO box. If you absolutely need USPS because of this reason, please choose UPS Ground and write a clear comment in your shipping instructions.

Shipping outside the USA: Please note that free shipping is only available for deliveries in the United States. You will be able to choose between several shipping services for deliveries (depending on your location): small parcel air, parcel (ground or air), Xpresspost International and also several shipping options via UPS. All delivery dates are approximate due to Customs formalities. All dispatches are guaranteed (Small packets air only 100$). Sorry, we do not ship to APO addresses or to the following countries: Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Syria.

You may have duties, taxes and/or custom fees charged upon delivery. These fees vary from country to country. You are responsible for paying these fees. If you refuse to pay them upon delivery, your package will be returned to us. Upon receipt, we will refund your product (minus shipping fees for both ways).

A tracking number will follow by email soon after you have placed your order for most services (except Small Packets Air). RobotShop Inc. tries to respect the delivery date shown. However, we are not responsible for orders delayed by Canada Post, UPS or Customs.

Shipping Organization


Only orders with a Vermont shipping address will include the Vermont sales tax since we are shipping from Vermont. No taxes are applied to the other states.

No taxes are applied for orders shipped outside of the U.S.A but you may have duties, taxes and/or custom fees charged upon delivery. These fees vary from country to country. You are responsible for paying these fees. If you refuse to pay them upon delivery, your package will be returned to us. Upon receipt, we will refund your product (minus shipping fees for both ways).
