  • DFRobot FTDI USB to Serial Basic Breakout Board (3.3V/5V)
    Great product
    Review by Jeremy
This board works great! I use it to program several arduino based projects, as well as my OSD display for my multirotor FPV. The output voltage switch is great.

  • 6 DOF Gyro, Accelerometer IMU - MPU6050
    Nice product
    Review by Adrien
Easy to use. This IMU coupled with Kalman filter is a good way to stabilize an UAV for instance !

  • DFRobot I2C / TWI 4x20 LCD Module
    easy connection, works as expected
    Review by borgchick
I am just using this as an LCD display, so the cable it shipped with isn't used. To use it, just connect VCC/GND, and SDA and SDL to an Arduino. Download the library in the dfr0154.zip from the link above, and voila. You are up and running.

Mine shipped with the i2c address set at 0x27. I've seen some LiquidCrystal_i2c libraries' examples defaulting to 0x20. If yours doesn't work, try 0x27 for the address.

I did also try to run it at 3.3v and 5v, both work fine. Although at 3.3v, the pot at the back has to be adjusted all the way to the left, and even then the contrast is not great. At 5v it is beautiful.

Towards the bottom of the image you will see a blue box with a screw at the top; this is actually a potentiometer which allows you to vary the voltage.

Hi and welcome to our forums!

We would need more information to be able to help. Could you post a picture of the setup of your Arduino and IR led module, and also a copy of the Arduino code you are using?

Thanks,
