bought this for a friend's kid's B-Day because she really likes Lego and other building stuff, as well as anything science related. She apparently couldn't put the thing down after we played with it at her B-Day party. even took it in the car on a long trip to make projects while they drove.
Great idea for any kid that likes to build stuff and figure out how things work.

Looks like fun and learning bonus, but received with part brokenReview by Mark
I bought for my 11 year old daughter as part of robotics building weekend. Working thru each building exercise allows for learning and growth of basic electrical concepts. Unfortunately the motor spindle arrived with broken parts so that the fan wouldn't stay on and function properly.
