  • Line Tracking Robot Kit
    Great Little Kit
    Review by Ian
I used 7 of this kit with a group of 15 kids aged 12-16 and it was a really big hit. They all worked and the kids had a blast figuring out how to best make paths for them. We explored their capabilities, raced them and the kids even developed their own robotic sumo wrestling game. I highly recommend this kit great value for the price.

By Coleman Benson & filled under GoRobotics >> Education, Robotics Projects & Kits, Where to Start.

Robot Construction Kits can be distinguished from normal robot kits since they use modular parts and allow you to assemble different robots using the same parts. A robot kit on the other hand only allows you to build one robot. Robot construction kits are a great investment because they tend to include everything you need [...]

Arrival of the Mini UAVs / Drones

Posted on February 26, 2014

By Eric Nantel & filled under Drone, RobotShop, Toys.

RobotShop recently received the first shipment of several new Mini UAVs / Drones. Unlike many small R/C quadcopter kits on the market, these are RTF (Ready To Fly) models, so everything needed to fly is inside the box. Charge the battery, plug it in and take off. Two inexpensive models we tested recently allow you [...]

By Coleman Benson & filled under Industry, Research, Robotics Projects & Kits, Swarm.

It has been a few years since RobotShop released the original DFRobotShop Rover, and we continue to be amazed and delighted with what people are using them to do. Recently German researchers used the DFRobotShop Rover as well as additional parts (light sensor, camera, software) to mimic the simple nervous system of an insect (using [...]
