The Gold ABS 1.0kg Spool 1.75mm Filament inner diameter is smaller than the spool holder which comes with the Replicator 2. The purpose of the spool holder is simply to allow the filament to unravel easily - the same can be done by using an inexpensive ''lazy susan''. There are also 3D files for new spool holders for the Replicator 2 online. ABS is compatible with MakerBot Replicator 2X, Cube 3D Printers.
