This is a review of the book Robotsapiens
One of the latest additions to the growing array of robotics related books is the book entitled Robosapiens. The authors describe their new book as a "field guide to our mechanical future." Husband and wife team, Peter Menzel and Faith D’Aluisio, traveled to the far reaches of the globe to document in pictures and text the "high-stakes race to build the fist intelligent robot." This beautiful hard-bound book contains 236 pages filled with hundreds of beatutiful pictures of the new breed of robotic creatures. Also contained within the book are interviews with the current pioneers in the robotics field, technical info on the robots, and a behind-the-scenes look at many state-of-the-art robots.
The book is divided into six different sections entitled "Electic dreams", "Robo sapiens", "Bio logical", "Remote possibilities", "Work mates", and "Serious fun", along with a comprephensive glossary of terms.
