Well, I was intending to put some pictures here, but apparently I didn’t bring my camera’s download cable … grrrr. I’ll figure something out though.

Anyways, I’m sitting here poolside at the hotel. The team from Montreal and University of Florida are out here too.

Aside from dodging all the small children playing out here, everthing is going pretty well. There’s a really great "friendlyness" about it all so far, and I’m having fun getting to know folks.

There was one random guy at the pool that seemed to take great delight in telling us how beautiful our robot is. We’re a bit upset that it’s painted yellow instead of NC State red.

The pool is rather shallow and we think it’s giving our DVL a hard time. Testing continues. I’ll see if I can’t manage to get some photos up by tonight.
