A bit of bizzare news to break the radio silence (school is killing me). Via BoingBoing, "Tweety the Bird Rescued by Robot."

"Tweety the cockatiel was stranded for two days after the building partially collapsed, undermined by a new tunnel."

The bomb disposal robot used its remote arm to grab Tweety’s cage and return the stranded feathery friend to its owner, Karen Bruce. This is the same robot that exposed the meth lab.
