• A 3mm infrared LED and a current limiting resistor
• Drive with logic HIGH at TTL level
• 2-mode operation: continuous drive or frequency drive

Use the Inex Infrared LED Board in two different modes:
Continuous Drive: In this mode, the IR-LED will receive a forward bias to drive the infrared rays. Use with the Inex Photo-transistor board for measuring the infrared light density.
Frequency Drive: Modulate the LED to a 38kHz carrier frequency using an external ciscuit such as a 555 timer IC or microcontroller. Use with the Inex 38kHz Infrared Receiver Module.
