Each JCM Cybug Hornet Kit includes a starter project "flashing robot head" to get you comfortable with soldering surface mount technology. Once complete you can proceed to the Hornet itself!
The Hornet encompasses some very cool technology including:
•New type of solar charge pump called a "Dynamic Solar Engine". The D.S.E. monitors ambient light level and selects a maximum and minimum charge level that best suits the available light. This allows the robot to operate in a much wider range of lighting conditions.
