The Kitronik Stereo Amplifier Kit w/ FM8002A Mono Amplifier ICs & 3.5mm Jack Socket is a versatile stereo audio amplifier kit that is compatible with any personal stereo equipment, including MP3 players and mobile devices that have a 3.5mm jack socket. This kit is an excellent educational tool, designed to be used in classrooms for teaching electronics and product design.
The kit is designed with M3 mounting holes at each corner, allowing for easy attachment to an enclosure. It includes comprehensive documentation that can be utilized for lesson planning by educators. The kit is equipped with two FM8002A mono amplifier ICs, one for each channel. These are surface-mounted components that are pre-fitted to the PCB.
Upon completion of the circuit construction and speaker attachment, the amplifier is capable of outputting 1.5W per channel into 8ohm speakers. The kit also comes with a 3 x AA battery holder with flying leads for powering the amplifier. Please note that batteries are not included with the kit and must be procured separately.
