The Luxonis OAK-D LR High-Performance Depth Camera is a Series 2 OAK camera that boasts a robust processing power of 4 TOPS, making it capable of running any AI model. This camera is designed with a 15 cm wide baseline, which enhances its depth-sensing capabilities up to approximately 30 meters.
One of the key features of this camera is its ability to swap lenses with ease. When equipped with very narrow FOV lenses, the camera can achieve over 100 meters of stereo depth perception. It also can run custom-architectured or built AI models, provided they are converted.
The camera is equipped with encoding capabilities such as H.264, H.265, and MJPEG, which can support 4K/30FPS and 1080P/60FPS. It also offers a variety of computer vision functions including warp (undistortion), resize, crop via ImageManip node, edge detection, feature tracking, and the ability to run custom CV functions.
The Luxonis OAK-D LR High-Performance Depth Camera provides stereo depth perception at 120 FPS with filtering and object tracking in both 2D and 3D with an ObjectTracker node. It is based on OAK-SoM-Pro and features USB 3.1 and 802.3at PoE, along with a triple AR0234 2.3MP global shutter color sensor. The camera is designed with three stereo baselines of 5cm, 10cm, and 15cm, catering to short, medium, and long-range depth respectively.
The camera is equipped with swappable M12-mount lenses with M12 lock rings to maintain focus and alignment. It also features a BNO086 IMU single-chip 9-axis sensor with embedded sensor fusion and an aluminum enclosure with front Gorilla Glass. The camera has dimensions of 202 x 43 x 40 mm (without rain cover) and comes with a rain cover of dimensions 50 x 27 x 22 mm, which protects the device from splashing water.
The OAK-D LR also includes 75 mm Vesa mount M4 screws, a 1/4 inch tripod mount in the center, a recovery button, and an RGB status LED on the bottom. The package comes with an Ethernet cable with RJ45 plugs, a Cable USB-CA-1m, 3x locking rings, a lock ring fastening tool, and a cleaning cloth.
The camera features triple RGB cameras, an AR0234 sensor, DFOV / HFOV / VFOV of 100° / 82° / 56°, a resolution of 2.3MP (1920x1200), a swappable M12-mount focus, and a maximum framerate of 60 FPS.
