The M5Stack M5Capsule Kit w/ M5StampS3 is a multifaceted embedded development board powered by Stamps3. This device amalgamates crucial functionalities such as sensors, power management, storage, and control, rendering it apt for the construction of the Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems, sensor applications, and the swift prototyping and validation of intelligent device data acquisition systems.
The M5Capsule is equipped with a high-performance BMI270 IMU, enabling accurate motion tracking and attitude control. It also boasts an SPM1423 microphone sensor, which supports recording, sound recognition, and wake-up functions. The integrated infrared sensor enhances its versatility, making it suitable for remote control, signal recognition, and smart home applications.
The device also includes a built-in TF card slot, which allows for expandable storage capacity, thereby facilitating data logging and media storage. The built-in buzzer provides audio feedback, thereby enhancing user interaction. The M5Capsule is designed with energy efficiency in mind, featuring a power-efficient design with a standby leakage current as low as 35uA.
The device is equipped with a built-in 250 mAh battery and supports external battery expansion for extended operation. It also includes the RTC8563 real-time clock module, which provides high-precision time and date information and supports timed wake-up functionality.
The M5Capsule offers additional scalability with its Proto socket, allowing for the connection of custom sensors and expansion boards to meet various project requirements. The device's structure features reserved mounting holes on the back for easy installation and an embedded magnet with strong adhesion for convenient attachment.
