The Masterpi Hiwonder AI Vision Robot Arm w/ Mecanum Wheels Car & Raspberry Pi Open Source Robot Caris powered by a Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB and is equipped with a Mecanum wheel chassis car, a 5DOF robotic arm and an HD camera. This allows it to carry out tasks such as color sorting, target tracking, line following and intelligent transport with the help of OpenCV.
Combining it with the RGB glowy ultrasonic sensor, it can control light colors and perform obstacle avoidance. Additionally, various sensors can be installed on the MasterPi for more perception functions. With abundant tutorials and open source Python codes, the MasterPi is the perfect assistant to learn robot technology and robot vision, to become a real AI player.
The MasterPi has 360 degrees Omni directional Movement, thanks to its Omni directional Mecanum wheels. This allows it to perform various movements such as move forward, horizontally, diagonally and rotate, and is capable of tackling complicated routes easily.
The 5DOF robotic arm allows it to pick and transport target objects with ease. When combined with the HD camera, it provides a first person view.
The MasterPi uses OpenCV as its image processing library and FPV to recognize and locate target blocks, allowing it to carry out color sorting, target tracking, line following and other AI games. Through vision positioning of the target object and the inverse kinematics algorithm of the robotic arm, the target object can be better targeted and tracked.
The MasterPi supports both WLAN and WIFI direct connection modes. Connecting to WiFi allows the first person view to be returned to the app operation interface, making remote control more exciting and realistic.
Using the app, you can control the MasterPi to move, pick and transport with ease. It also allows you to switch robot modes easily and quickly, to experience AI games.
The Masterpi features 6 hardware features such as 15KG strong torque, metal gear micro servo, hard aluminium alloy, 120 degrees HD camera, glowy ultrasonic sensor, and more. The base of the robotic arm uses full metal and 15KG strong torque servo equipped with a metal servo horn for stronger power feedback. The end of the robotic arm uses metal gear micro servo equipped with a metal servo horn for higher accuracy and longer service life. The hard aluminium alloy provides protection for the core control board from shattering and shock, and can bear bigger loads. The 120 degrees HD camera allows for a visual angle and tilt angle of up to 180 degrees. Combined with the mecanum chassis car, the vision range is 360 degrees. The glowy ultrasonic sensor provides lower CPU consumption for better performance.
