The ROBOTIS MINI Humanoid Robot Kit is the most advanced robotics kit that allows students to integrate concepts explored with the DYNAMIXEL actuators, OpenCM 9.04, and Bluetooth Connectivity to build and program their own miniaturized humanoid robot.
The ROBOTIS MINI can be programmed using R+ Task and allows students to explore the most advanced C/C++-based programming concepts through programming its Arduino-like open-source embedded controller (OpenCM 9.04). Students can even explore 3D Printing concepts with the ROBOTIS MINI by 3D printing their own frames for maximum customization.
The ROBOTIS MINI is an adorable humanoid robot. You can program its motions with downloadable R+ Task and R+ Motion software. You can also control the robot via a smart device by downloading the ROBOTIS MINI app.
The ROBOTIS MINI is a programmable miniaturized humanoid robot featuring 16 XL-320 Dynamixels (16 DOF), the OpenCM9.04 C, an Arduino-like open-source embedded controller featuring a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor, a 3D printable frame for robot customization, and Android/iOS smart device connectivity via BT-210 (Bluetooth 2.1) or BT-410 (BLE) Bluetooth modules.
Building the ROBOTIS MINI
The ROBOTIS MINI offers a challenging but fulfilling building experience. The kit includes a fully-colored assembly manual that not only provides detailed assembly instructions but also provides building tips. Download the R+ Design program for a preview of robot assembly and structure. Zoom in/out or rotate the 3D model to view the robot from any angle.
Controlling the ROBOTIS MINI
Download the free ROBOTIS MINI application on your Android or iOS smart device to control your MINI via buttons, gestures, Voice Recognition, or Messenger commands.
Please note that Voice Recognition is NOT available for the ROBOTIS MINI iOS app at this time.
Programming the ROBOTIS MINI
The ROBOTIS MINI can be programmed using RoboPlus Task (or R+Task 2.0), a graphical, drag-and-drop programming tool based on C++.
If you are not satisfied for whatever reason with a Product you bought on the Site, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days from the date you received it unless otherwise indicated in the Product listing. You must first advise the Vendor associated with your order in your account to obtain a return authorization (‘’RA’’) number before returning a Product. (‘’RA’’) numbers are valid for 30 days, within which time the returned Products should be received by the Vendor. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained an (‘’RA’’) number. The Product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and your (‘’RA’’) number. Reimbursement will be denied for any Products which do not conform to the above mentioned conditions.
Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
