This is the R/C Controlled Rugged Pan / Tilt / Roll System kit. This kit contains one Rugged High Power PT-2100 Pan & Tilt System, one PT-2100 R / C Adapter Kit and one R-2200 Roll Attachment for Heavy Duty PT-2100 Pan / Tilt.
The ServoCity Rugged High Power PT-2100 Pan & Tilt System (included) is designed to smoothly operate cameras up to 40lb even though the entire head only weighs 8.5lb. The Dual ABEC-5 ball bearings support the hollow stainless steel shafts that allow video and power wires to be routed through the points of rotation. The system can operate in upright or hanging position. The control speed is fully proportional (variable) from 1/2° per second up to 20° per second. The installing optional motors, range can go down to .05° per second up to 60° per second.
The Toothed Kevlar belts used on the PT2100 ensure minimal backlash, quiet operation and have a lifetime warranty. The camera balancing is done by simply loosening the belt on the corresponding axis and adjusting the camera position. Although this system is 2 axis, the joystick and controller included can control up to 2 pan and tilt heads or a total of 4 gearmotors for future additions such as a roll and zoom, focus or iris control. Included R-2200 Roll Attachment for Heavy Duty PT-2100 Pan / Tilt is extremely rigid and designed to smoothly operate with cameras up to 20lb.
PT-2100 R / C Adapter Kit Characteristics:
• Converts the RJ11 cable to standard servo pin-outs
• Allows you to simply plug in an RC receiver to the PT-2100 4-motor controller via the supplied male-male servo extensions
• 12V battery with a 2.5 x 5.5mm male power plug is needed to power the PT-2100 4-motor controller
