RobotShop insists on reassuring you about the security of our transactional Web site. All payments made on our site by credit card are processed via proven cryptographic techniques by PSiGate.
In order to become a PSIGate certified merchant, and accept credit card payments from the five largest banks, RobotShop had to answer to all their requirements in terms of security and ethics. Furthermore, your credit card number is NEVER stored on our server or on one of our computers. All your confidential information is directly submitted to the PSiGate server before being encrypted and sent to your bank for verification.
All confidential information collected by PSiGate is stored offline, encrypted with 128 bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology on top of being protected by a firewall to prevent intruders. All information sent to your bank, such as your credit card number, are also encrypted with 128 bit SSL according to industry standards. To ensure client confidentiality, PSiGate will never sell, rent or divulge any of the personal information taken from the transactions to any entity other then RobotShop and your bank, in the case of any disagreement concerning your transactions. RobotShop would also like to assure you that any personal information gathered in the membership section is subject to strict confidentiality. RobotShop also engages itself to never disclose any information concerning its customers to third parties.
Postal and Billing Address:
When you place an order at RobotShop, the information relative to the postal and billing addresses are immediately included in our internal database in order to be able to respond correctly and quickly to the service you request, the delivery of a product or service. This information is conserved strictly for internal use of customer service and is used strictly to serve you better.
Email Address:
When you place an order at RobotShop, your email address is also collected in order to send you a copy of your invoice and a tracking number during delivery of your purchase. This email address is also conserved in our database in order to serve you better. If you also register for the RobotShop newsletter, your email will also be used to send you the monthly RobotShop news.
Your sensitive information is never shared, rented or sold to a third party.
