The SFE IMU ±1.5g Dual Axis Accelerometer, Single Axis 150°/s Gyroscope Combo was created due to the retirement of the Tokin CG-16D piezoelectric sensors. These cheap sensors are now becoming obsolete and difficult to find. The ADXRS sensors from Analog Devices are a great substitute but hobbyists were hindered by the BGA package. By combining the ADXRS with the ADXL sensors, the IMU board enables students and hobbyists to easily incorporate yaw and tilt measurements into their projects or robots.

The ADXL203 sensor is a much higher precision sensor with a range of +/-1.5g. This small PCB board incorporates the Analog MEMs gyroscope and accelerometer in a tight footprint. The IMU board uses a standard 0.1" header and includes all outputs from both the ADXRS gyroscope and ADXL accelerometer ICs.

The SFE IMU ±1.5g Dual Axis Accelerometer, Single Axis 150°/s Gyroscope Combo comes fully assembled and tested with ADXL203 and ADXRS613. Units come as shown without headers installed. We recommend right-angle break away headers, straight pin headers, or wire up your own cable!
