The Oside Robotics Carbon Fiber 4WD Robotic Inspection Platform is designed to be easily customizable and ready to operate out of the box within minutes. Due to its low profile, it can easily fit underneath vehicles, buildings, or in pipelines. Operating the platform in crawl inspections or hostile environments will keep you away and safe from the danger zone.
The 4WD Robotic Inspection Platform comes equipped with a versatile 180-degree tilt mechanism. Its attachment features a built-in magnet and LED ring for enhanced functionality. Simply attach your cell phone to the platform and seamlessly stream high-quality video via Wi-Fi or a 5G network to your laptop, tablet, or phone (Please note that software is not provided, but a wide range of open-source programs is available for use). The digital video transmission ensures a clear and interference-free experience, addressing issues commonly associated with radio transmission, such as signal quality and reliability.
The carbon fiber frame and its components have been CNC machined to make an ideal fit. Thick panels make it extremely durable and lightweight at the same time. Each panel is made to be replaceable and upgradable per custom order.
Thanks to two 5000mAh powerful LiPo batteries, the platform can be operated for a significant amount of time before it needs to be charged again. The batteries are charged externally through waterproof connectors but are also accessible by removing the top panel. Two hard case LiPo batteries are made to withstand vibrations, rough use, and are less prone to failure. The batteries and all other components are secured to the platform body, preventing anything from rattling around and getting loose.
Soft and grippy tires make the platform very controllable. Tires can be easily replaced or upgraded thanks to the rims' bead lock setup that comes standard on every platform. This is a perfect match for the four powerful gear motors that are waiting to rip up the ground. The wheels are directly mounted and secured on the motor shaft. The platform chassis is designed to be drivable on both sides, with a clearance of 1.8 inches.
To keep the platform safe from accidental movement, the transmitter comes with programmed safety switch that needs to be released before use. The main power switches on the platform are equipped with red LED rings. When Rings are ON the game is ON. The transmitter itself comes with additional safety features such as voice feedback for inactivity alarm, safety switch, and speed selector.
All lights come ON with a press of a switch and they are brighter than most flashlights. You will never lose orientation of which direction the platform is facing.
If you are not satisfied for whatever reason with a Product you bought on the Site, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days from the date you received it unless otherwise indicated in the Product listing. You must first advise the Vendor associated with your order in your account to obtain a return authorization (‘’RA’’) number before returning a Product. (‘’RA’’) numbers are valid for 30 days, within which time the returned Products should be received by the Vendor. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained an (‘’RA’’) number. The Product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and your (‘’RA’’) number. Reimbursement will be denied for any Products which do not conform to the above mentioned conditions.
Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
