The Cytron 13A, 5-30V Single DC Motor Controller is an enhanced version of the MD10B which is designed to drive high current brushed DC motor up to 13A continuously. It offers several enhancements over the MD10B such as support for both locked-antiphase and sign-magnitude PWM signal as well as using full solid state components which result in faster response time and eliminate the wear and tear of the mechanical relay.

We bought a couple of these for testing driving submersible pumps at work. It seemed too good to be true that these lil' guys could run that high of amperage continuously, so we stress tested them.
Set up a 12v 10A load on them and ran them for 2.5 hours straight. Thermal tests were at 100F after all that.
I didn't work with the bidirectional switching much.
Would recommend.

I originally had made my own H-Bridge motor controller with two analog relays and two NPN Transistors. This unit replaces that monstrosity and works great. I advise anyone who plans on making their own H-Bridge to do so for educational purposes but quickly replace it with this one as long as it meets your power requirements. I use two of these to control the steering and motion of my automated lawn tractor project. I have them interfaced with a Raspberry Pi 3 and Logitech G27 Wheel using the SDL2 Framework. In the future I plan on adding additional motor controls to the project and will definitely purchase more of these.

i used this with a wheelchair size motor that draws about 6 amps. It runs great in forward and reverse.
Please note that this controller will BRAKE when the motor is off. That may not be desirable for some applications, but for me it was perfect.

I accidentally ran some bad code a few times and made the motor slam back and forth rapidly. This puts a ton of stress on a driver, but it wasn't damaged. So.. A+ on durability.

Great board, I highly recommend it.

I've been messing with this drive for 3 days PWMing a hungry window motor.

I love the fact that it comes with good screw-type terminals, a diy pin connector, and standoffs! It will mount cleanly in a project box.

I'm going to expose this thing to a harsh environment (vibration\temperature) so I hope it performs as good as it looks.

I'm using this board to drive the steering pump for a arduino based autopilot for a 37' boat. Works great. The connectors were too small for #10 wire. I had to solder on new connectors.

RB-Cyt-132 burned when we were trying it with Banebots FIRST CIM 12V 5280 RPM 345 oz-in Brushed DC Motor ..and we replaced it with 30A 5-30V Single Brushed DC Motor Driver. which has been working ok...but this is definitely not food for the Banebots FIRST CIM 12V 5280 RPM 345 oz-in Brushed DC Motor

Nonetheless, I have to stress the fact that the first item I received was not working. With the second one I was luckier.

Awesome little board, using it to control a 1.5 hp motor at 12 volts at like 10% power, just needed a motor with high torque to only rotate 180* like a servo. This little guy did the job, a must have when working with medium and even high powered motors

After spending a lot of money trying to control a 2 wire linear actuator on a door I found this jewel. For the price it can't be beat. This thing is awesome. Has the manual control buttons for testing. The LED indicators are great. Very simple to control with a Raspberry PI. I cant think of any cons to this board.

This has the amperage and robust design needed to run up to four motors of my linear actuators in parallel. After I was well into the project I realized that I might need another channel to control the irrigation system, but I can always simply add a power transistor for that. This was simple and just what I needed.

Using this board for a 550 sized 18 volt motor in a rc boat. No issues so far. Push button test is useful as are indicator leds for testing without motors attached. I think this is the best price for the wattage you can find on here.
