Last Saturday I held a workshop in Xinchejian, our Hackerspace in Shanghai. The workshop was about to build an Insect bot mini.

In my blog about the Shanghai Maker Carnival i wrote about the workshop and our VIP guests but not much about the other stuff. here it goes, the other stuff. One of the interesting objects was the Mecanum Robot (well, actually remote controlled), a project of my colleague Angelo. He build that monster, improved, failed, improved again to make it work. You might imagine how much fun it was to test it in the office :-)

DFRobot is now three years young.

Ok, here is our entry for our company intern Sumo Robot Competition. 

The name came to me in a blink of an eye :-) Silicon Crusher (or short SC) is based on the MiniQ chassis as the other participants too. The rules are not exactly Mini Sumo rules but based on it (http://robogames.net/rules/all-sumo.php).
