Ultrasonic Collision Avoidance Arduino and Raspberry Pi

Hi;

I am building and testing a telepresence wheeled rover bot that has two methods of control:

1. Web Interface (Manual Mode): This consists of a control panel on a web page served using WebIOPi on a Raspberry Pi which, when activated, sends commands to an Arduino Nano AT Mega328P via a two wire i2c interface (Forward, Back etc).

Ultrasonic HC-SR04 library for AtMega 8 (ie Dagu Mini Driver)

Does anyone know of a library that will work with a Dagu Mini Driver (Arduino NG AtMega 8) and an HC-SR04?  At first I thought I must have two sensors that are dead, but when I hook them up to an Arduino they work fine.

I tried our friend Google, but none of the ultrasonic libraries list if they are backwards compatible to the AtMega 8.  I tried two different libraries and neither seems to work.  I tried different pins, still no joy.

Can only get a 6-8 cm range out of HC-SR04

Hi everybody,

I'm working on my first robot project: a simple 2WD wall avoider using an Arduino Uno and the Adafruit motorshield v1 and I have a problem with the HC-SR04 sensor I purchased. Everywhere on the web I find that the maximum range is a couple of meters, however I can only get 6-8 cm's from it. 

My code looks like this:

I'm trying to connect DYP-ME007 (ultrasonic) and Wild Thumper Controller.

And i can't understand how to connect it electrically. I'm talking about trig and echo pins.

Because I couldn't find an introduction section anywhere and because this is my first post (yes I was that lurker) I'll take the liberty to introduce myself.

Trying to fill data into an array for the first time.

Let me apologize right up front if I sound stupid here, this is my first adventure into programming and I'm trying to learn.

What I'm trying to do is use an ultrasonic rangefinder attached to a servo to scan the area in front of the robot in a 180 degree arc, and record the distances at each degree in an array.  Then I want to have my bot scan the area over and over, re-looking that 180 degree arc.  When one of the distances changes, that should trigger the bot to fire a laser at the spot where the "intruder" is.

3x Ultrasonic sensor

Hi I have problem with reading value from 3 ultrasonic sensor. I use Atmega644P and trig is conected to PD5-PD7, but echo from all sensors conected to PD2. I tried read value and wrote to LCD. When I disconnected all sensors the some values are on LCD, but when I connected all sensors and click to reset the LCD is clear.
