- Motor features include low noise, long life, adjustable speed, a brake, and a speed feedback signal
- The brushless motor is controlled by frequency conversion technology, which is more energy-efficient than a carbon brush motor
- Direction of rotation of the motor can be either clockwise or counterclockwise, and it supports reverse rotation
- All-metal gears promote smooth running, wear resistance, and increased motor life
- The rotor is constructed with pure copper coil for high conductivity and temperature resistance
The 25mm 24V 420RPM Brushless DC Gear Motor (JGA25 2418) is composed of a brushless high-speed motor and a gearbox. This motor offers several advantages, including a lifespan that is approximately ten times longer than that of a brushed motor, stable and reliable performance, low noise, pulse signal output, and PWM speed regulation. Furthermore, no sparks are generated when the motor is in operation and it is controlled by frequency conversion technology, making it more energy efficient than carbon brush motors, while also offering overcurrent and stall overload protection.
The motor is available in two voltage options, 12V and 24V. For the 12V version, the no-load speed can be selected from 8.5rpm, 11rpm, 19rpm, 25rpm, 42rpm, 55rpm, 93rpm, 122rpm, 204rpm, 453rpm, and 990rpm, and the rated torque ranges from 0.03 to 4 KG.CM. The stall torque for this version ranges from 0.2 to 24KG, and it is recommended that the load of the project does not exceed the rated torque. For the 24V version, the no-load speed can be selected from 17.5rpm, 23rpm, 38rpm, 50rpm, 85rpm, 111rpm, 186rpm, 245rpm, 408rpm, 900rpm, and 1977rpm, and the rated torque ranges from 0.15 to 16.5 KG.CM. The stall torque for this version ranges from 0.6 to 24KG, and again, it is recommended that the load of the project does not exceed the rated torque. The motor can rotate in either a clockwise (CW) or counterclockwise (CCW) direction and supports reverse.
The motor shaft is of the D type and all dimensions of the motor can be found in the size chart. The speed of the motor can be adjusted using a speed controller, which is sold in combination with the motor. The motor DC power connection is safe, as experiments have proven that the motor voltage is lower than 36V without any danger. This motor is suitable for a variety of micro automation equipment, provided the motor voltage and torque are suitable for the voltage and load of the project.
