The 36mm Diameter High Torque Planetary Gear Motor, 24V, 9.7RPM is a compact and cost-effective motor and planetary (epicyclic) gearbox combination, providing a speed and torque output that makes it ideal for use as a drive motor in robotics applications up to 60kg in weight. It features a long output shaft, 8mm in diameter, which allows for easy mounting of wheels, pulleys and other accessories.
The motor can be operated at voltages ranging from 6 to 30V DC. Performance characteristics are provided for operation at either 12V or 24V DC. This motor is smaller and faster, making it popular among robotics hobbyists and special effects designers. The long output shaft is designed to facilitate mounting, though it is important to ensure that any larger overhanging loads are supported independently.
Two copper tabs at the back of the body can be used to solder or crimp wires to. We also offer an optional 500mm long silicone insulated lead (1mm2) for installation and use. Please allow an additional working day for processing your order if this lead option is selected, as it will need to be soldered and insulated.
