The DC 6V 1500RPM 3mm Shaft Mini Metal Gearwheel Gear Motor N20 Geared Motors w/ Encoder & Cable has a working voltage range of 3V to 12V. It features all metal gears and a 10mm D-shaped shaft. This motor offers a long lifetime and low noise operation, and is capable of both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. The encoder wiring is as follows: red for motor power (+, which can control the motors positive and negative polarity), black for coded power (+, which cannot be reversed between 3.3V and 5V levels), yellow for signal feedback (7 signals per turn), green for signal feedback (7 signals per turn), blue for encoder power supply (positive or negative, not to be reversed between 3.3V and 5V levels), and white for motor power supply (which can control the motors forward and reverse). This motor is of middle power and is very robust, making it suitable for demanding robots. It is bolted using M3 screws and has a 30:1 reduction gear. Other reduction ratios are available on request, such as 1/10, 1/30, 1/50, 1/75, 1/100, 1/150, 1/210, 1/250, 1/298, 1/370, 1/380, and 1/1000.
