The Hiwonder Astra Pro RGBD Depth Camera for ROS Robotics SLAM & 3D Mapping Navigation w/ Raspberry Pi Supportprovides an improved development experience. The Astra SDK supports a variety of mainstream platforms and the corresponding APIs can be used to quickly obtain depth maps, color maps and skeletons, allowing for more advanced application layer development of products. It is capable of recognizing gestures by detecting and locating 21 key points on hands. Human bodies within the frame can be detected and marked with lines and key points. Objects can be selected with a mouse and the camera will locate and track the target. Additionally, it is able to detect chairs, shoes, cups and cameras through models and frame them. Finally, the Astra Pro can display the RGB map and the depth map of the distance from the point to the camera in real time.
