The Mini Pupper Open Source ROS Robot Dog Kit is endorsed by the Robot Operating System (ROS), Raspberry Pi, and other media outlets, this kit is capable of using a single camera sensor to detect objects, as well as supporting the official 3D camera module from OpenCV. This allows users to make a variety of interesting projects.
The Mini Pupper can map its environment and learn in real time from its surroundings with the help of its Lidar and camera sensor. This self driving technology will enable it to answer questions such as Where am I? and Where am I going? It is not only capable of hopping, trotting, and running, but also other movements. It has all the necessary components to complete a mission.
The Mini Pupper is based on the Raspberry Pi, making it highly expandable. We invite hackers, makers, and students to take it and create the coolest projects. With this kit, you can explore fun behaviors like Jump Rope and Push Ups, or even create your own unique use case.
The servo motor is the key component to a robot dog. We have designed our own high torque servos which make it both fast and stable. We chose quality over cost, aiming for a product that has a personality and is inviting.
