The PCI to Dual UART & Single Parallel MIO Bus Bridge Controller, 128 pin TQFP 90pc Bundle SB16C1053APCI, offers an easy PCI target card implementation for serial and parallel port communication. It features a two-core SB16C1050A with a built-in 256-byte FIFO, which reduces the CPU load. This controller also detects errors such as overrun error and is capable of supporting simultaneous use of multiple ports. Furthermore, it supports the PCI Power Management and is able to wake up a PC that is powered off through interrupts or wake up requests. Additionally, the SB16C1053APCI supports up to six serial ports, providing RS422/485 auto-toggling function and a global interrupt function to the built-in UART, allowing for more convenient handling of serial communication at the driver level.
