The Sherline CNC Lathe Kit w/ Standard Stepper Motors is designed for users who prefer to integrate their own computer and software with a CNC-ready lathe. This kit includes a 4-axis driver box, power supply, and two stepper motors, facilitating seamless connection to a personal computer via a 25-pin parallel cable. Users can attach the stepper motors to the lathe's crosslide and leadscrew, and connect the X and Z cables from the driver box to the motors. Once personal control software is installed, the system is operational.
