The Sherline Nickel-Teflon Coated CNC Rotary Table w/ Stepper Motor is an advanced modification of the 4-inch CNC rotary table, specifically designed to meet the demands of laser engraving applications. This model features a larger through hole, facilitating the mounting of chucks, and is enhanced with a Nickel-Teflon coating. This coating provides a rust-resistant surface that is both durable and lubricated, making it ideal for everyday production environments. The rotary table is crafted from solid bar stock steel, ensuring robustness and longevity, and weighs a total of seven pounds.
The table's precision is underscored by laser-engraved lines every 5 degrees, with numbers marked every 15 degrees. These markings are precisely calibrated with a 72-tooth worm gear, which can be operated via a handwheel or the integrated stepper motor. The handwheel is meticulously divided into 50 parts, allowing for precise adjustments of 1/10 of a degree per line, enabling the division of a circle into 3600 increments without the need for interpolation. A full rotation of the table is achieved with 72 revolutions of the handwheel.
The rotary table's through hole measures 15/32 inches, and it includes a chuck adapter with specific threading to ensure concentric alignment with the rotary table. The table is capable of supporting a weight capacity of 50 pounds in a horizontal orientation and 30 pounds vertically. It offers a vertical rotational torque of 6 foot-pounds and maintains mechanical backlash at 0.2 degrees or less. The table's dimensions are 4 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height, with provisions for part mounting that include a center thread and four T-slots.
The stepper motor is a NEMA 23 frame size, delivering 120 oz-in of torque and operating at 2 amps. It provides a resolution of 28,800 steps per revolution, with a rotation speed ranging from 1 degree per second to a maximum of 50 degrees per second. The system also features programmable backlash compensation, ensuring precise and reliable operation.

If you are not satisfied for whatever reason with a Product you bought on the Site, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days from the date you received it unless otherwise indicated in the Product listing. You must first advise the Vendor associated with your order in your account to obtain a return authorization (‘’RA’’) number before returning a Product. (‘’RA’’) numbers are valid for 30 days, within which time the returned Products should be received by the Vendor. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained an (‘’RA’’) number. The Product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and your (‘’RA’’) number. Reimbursement will be denied for any Products which do not conform to the above mentioned conditions.
Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
