Great replacement timer

We had a power bump that took out the old timer. Found this online and ordered it the Saturday before Good Friday. Delivery was listed at 4 business days so I expected it probably the Tuesday after Easter. But to my surprise it arrived on Thursday. A perfect match for the old timer and fast shipping. I certainly order from Robot Shop again.

Not quite like the origina

I bought this one to replace the one on my auto feeder. It looks the same, but it isn't. The main difference is that you can NOT program this to the second, only hours and minutes. I am guessing someone redesigned the part, and it lost the function, yet the instructions didn't change. The instructions still show how to program the seconds, but the function of the "sec" button is now also the "on/off/auto" button, so when you try to program the seconds, it just switches the mode. Again, the instructions are for the original timer functions, which this one does not have.
This is still, arguably, better than buying a whole new feeder when your timer goes bad, but do be informed that you can only program it in 1-minute intervals now.

Since my review, I've determined it is possible to program the seconds, but you can only do this when the timer setting is on "auto" during programming. You can not set seconds if the timer is set to "off" during programming.

Great timer, Great service

Timer was shipped and arrived promptly. Well packaged. Timer was purchased as backup for my current auto pet feeder timer which has been working fine for 2 yrs. I find these timers easy to program. Because this timer can be programmed for multiple run times of less than one minute each, they work great for dispensing small meals to cats for healthy weight control.

We bought 2 pet feeders 6 years ago and they've worked flawlessly every day for all this time. Now had to get one replacement auger cover, which is fine... I'm glad you sell replacements so that the overall product still works. Ordering and delivery was fast and easy. Thanks.

Timers are great

We bought 2 pet feeders with timers 6 years ago and both have worked flawlessly since, great product. Recently one of the timers started to have a screen LED issue where we couldn't see the digits as well. We don't begrudge buying one new timer in 6 years, hope the replacement we bought lasts another 6 years. Thanks.
