Died with very little use, manufacturer became unresponsive

At most I ran the screen for a half an hour to test it's functionality while waiting on the remaining parts for a mini cyberdeck build to become available. The image was good and ran fine for a screen of its size. I then invested some time into hand-making a custom case to keep the electronics safe and secure.

It defaults to portrait with no apparent way to change this on the screen itself. If connected to a PC or pi, the image can be corrected via the connected hardware, but anything like a Nintendo Switch, Chromecast, etc with no landscape/portrait settings to change will leave you stuck with a warped image.

However, when attempting to use it to verify if my MSI GPU's ports had died again, there were dead pixels all over the screen that had not been present before, mostly around the center of the image. When I attempted to power it on afterwards, the screen remained blank.

After Contacting Robotshop, who then got me in touch with the manufacturer "Waveshare", I got the first few responses pretty quick. However, they stopped responding just after sending them the model number/SKU. Its now been about a month with no further response.

Thank you for your review. Our team has reach out to them and will come back to you asap.
