El Tablero Serial de Arranque Básico DFRobot FTDI USB (3.3V/5V) es un tablero de arranque básico para el FTDI FT232RL USB a serial IC. La configuración de este tablero coincide con el cable FTDI para trabajar con Arduino oficial y con tableros Arduino 3.3V clonados. También se puede usar para aplicaciones seriales generales. La principal diferencia con este tablero es que saca el pin DTR en lugar del pin RTS del cable FTDI. El pin DTR permite que un objetivo Arduino se reinicie automáticamente cuando se descarga un boceto nuevo. Esta es una característica realmente agradable de tener y permite que un boceto se descargue sin tener que presionar el botón de reinicio. Este tablero reiniciará automáticamente cualquier tablero Arduino que tenga el pin de reinicio traído a un conector de 6 pines.
Existen ventajas y desventajas para el Cable FTDI frente al Básico FTDI. Este tablero tiene LEDs TX y RX que te permiten ver el tráfico en serie en los LED para verificar si la placa está funcionando, pero este tablero requiere un cable miniB. Este tablero fue diseñado para disminuir el costo del desarrollo de Arduino y aumentar la facilidad en el uso (la función de reinicio automático es grandiosa). Los tableros Arduino Pro y LilyPad del fabricante utilizan este tipo de conector.
I purchased this FTDI to directly interface with my 9dof IMU. The setup was quite simple and straightforward. The addition of jumper pins (to switch between 3.3v and 5v output) is something unique to this FTDI board.

Simple but effective
As usual, really fast order processing and delivery. Product does as promised. It's nice to have it 3.3V and 5V switchable, but my big sausage fingers would appreciate a tiny physical switch instead of those jumper blocks.

This board works great! I use it to program several arduino based projects, as well as my OSD display for my multirotor FPV. The output voltage switch is great.

This is a standard USB To Serial FTDi data converter... It is well made, reliable, although to pricey. Recommended...
