Margin Considerations

RobotShop’s margin is calculated as follows:

13% X (Retail of Products Sold + Shipping) = Commission

RobotShop’s margin takes the following into consideration:

• 13% fixed margin for adding any number of robotics related products on all RobotShop marketplace sites (CA, US, Europe and more)
• Products can be of any size and any value
• Vendor lists their products via the RobotShop Marketplace interface
• Vendor handles all pre and post-sales support, troubleshooting, returns and exchanges
• Vendor handles shipping directly to the customer, returns and higher level technical support. In other words, the supplier retains complete control of your customer service.
• RobotShop handles all transactions, payments, fraud checks and translations and pays the supplier.

RobotShop provides payments for products sold every two weeks via wire transfer minus the 13% commission.

Onboarding Procedure

1. Supplier is approved by RobotShop
2. Supplier completes and returns the standard sign up questionnaire
3. RobotShop sends Marketplace website login information via email to supplier
4. Supplier logs in, completes their account and creates the products in the RBM interface
5. Customer orders are received in the Marketplace interface and by email
6. Supplier sends the products directly to each customer and indicates shipping information
7. RobotShop provides payment to the supplier minus 13% every two weeks for products sold during the previous period.
