The AndyMark EVO Shifter Short Keyed Shaft, StageA 2 - 04.77:1 Ratio, StageB 2 - 10.86:1 Ratio represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox incorporates an enhanced 4-tooth dog shifting mechanism, allowing for seamless transitions between speeds. It is compatible with two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages, offering flexibility in performance. The gearbox is shipped assembled, though motors are not included.

Significant improvements have been made over previous models, including a robust 1/8" diameter shoulder screw and a dog gear crafted from AMPCO® 18 Bronze, which provides enhanced strength and lubricity. The gearbox features a super-strong shift block assembly with a larger bearing and threaded steel housing, contributing to its durability. The input stage utilizes 32 DP gears and a 15-tooth pinion gear, achieving a high 85:15 first stage reduction. Users can independently select high and low ratios, and the gearbox supports various encoder options, including the US Digital E4T.

The EVO Shifter employs a pneumatic shift method, utilizing a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder that allows shifting while a robot is in motion. The gearbox is designed with aggressive weight reduction features and can be mounted to an AM14U family chassis or a 2"x1" box tube frame. It includes a 15 Tooth 32DP pinion gear and requires the application of Red Tacky Grease for optimal operation. The encoder ratio for two-stage versions is 3:1, ensuring precise control and performance.
