The 5840 3650 12V 20RPM High Torque Worm Gear Motor is a miniature DC motor with the ability to change its shaft rotation direction when its positive and negative wiring is changed. It has two additional features:

The package contains five pieces of the worm motor. Note that it is normal for black grease to spill around the shaft seal after the motor has been running for a period of time. This grease prevents the output shaft from rusting.
