12-DoF quadruped platform with Flat and RUG multi-terrain gait system
Up to 2.5 m/s; climbs 40° slopes and 15 cm steps (18 cm in AI Motion Mode); 1.5–2 h endurance
Wide-angle camera and dual ultrasonic radar, obstacle auto-stop and visual person-tracking
Dual Ethernet ports and an external power interface (24V/12V/5V) for networking and hardware expansion
Voice command control (English/Chinese) and app control via DEEP Robotics APP (Android)
The Deep Robotics Lite3 Venture Quadruped Robot is a 12-degree-of-freedom legged platform that builds on the Lite3 Basic, adding hardware connectivity, dual Ethernet ports and an external power interface (24V/12V/5V), for developers who want to network the robot or expand it with their own hardware. It navigates flat ground, climbs slopes up to 40 degrees, and climbs steps up to 15 cm (up to 18 cm in AI Motion Mode), using a Flat and RUG multi-gait control system that adapts to terrain in real time. Perception is handled by a forward-facing wide-angle camera and dual ultrasonic radars, providing forward/rear obstacle auto-stop and autonomous visual person-tracking. Operable in 0–40 °C indoor and controlled outdoor settings, the Venture is the connectivity-equipped development tier of DEEP Robotics' education and research quadruped line — a more accessible entry to integration work than the perception-equipped Pro and LiDAR editions.
The Venture shares the Basic's locomotion and perception core, the same wide-angle camera and dual ultrasonic radars, and the same stop-and-follow sensing, and adds the interface set developers need to extend it. Because the Venture has no onboard AI computer or depth camera, perception processing for any added sensor runs on the developer's own equipment; onboard obstacle avoidance and autonomous navigation begin with the Pro and LiDAR editions. Development is supported through DEEP Robotics' resources (models, motion-control SDK and API, and communication protocol). Control is via the DEEP Robotics Android application (Android 6.0+) over the robot's built-in Wi-Fi router, with live video streaming, gait selection, English/Chinese voice commands, and an unlockable AI Motion Mode (AI Base gait with traction control).

Use Cases & Application Scenarios
Development & Integration
The Venture's dual Ethernet ports and external power interface make it a base for development and integration work, networking the robot into a lab setup or multi-robot system, and connecting additional hardware to the platform. With the motion-control SDK and API, developers can build and test custom locomotion behaviours, using their own computing for any added sensing (the Venture has no onboard AI computer or depth camera).
Research & Education
A platform for university and lab research into locomotion, gaits, motion control, and reinforcement learning, and for student projects and robotics coursework — with open motion-control SDK and API access.
Locomotion & Outdoor Terrain
With its Grip and H-Step gaits, the Venture handles slopes, grass, and uneven steps across indoor and controlled outdoor conditions (rated for 0–40 °C operation).

Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied for whatever reason with a Product you bought on the Site, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days from the date you received it unless otherwise indicated in the Product listing. You must first advise the Vendor associated with your order in your account to obtain a return authorization (‘’RA’’) number before returning a Product. (‘’RA’’) numbers are valid for 30 days, within which time the returned Products should be received by the Vendor. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained an (‘’RA’’) number. The Product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and your (‘’RA’’) number. Reimbursement will be denied for any Products which do not conform to the above mentioned conditions.
Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
