The DFRobot DC-DC Charge Discharge Integrated Module (5V/2A) is a sophisticated device that integrates both charging and discharging functionalities. It provides a consistent 5V output that remains unaffected by load access and can handle a maximum load current of 2A. This module is equipped with four levels of charge and discharge electricity indication, and its output can be controlled via a button.
The module is designed with an in-built power management circuit that elevates a lithium battery to 5V. It is capable of supporting simultaneous charging and discharging. Furthermore, it includes a battery protection feature, making it suitable for batteries that lack a protective board.
This versatile module can be utilized for a variety of applications, including car charging retrofit, power supply for driving recorders, DIY mobile power banks, and portable charging devices for mobile phones and laptops.
Important Note: The KEY function is not operational in charging mode. In discharging mode, a short press of the button activates the output and turns on the indicator. To disable the output, the button must be held down for approximately 10 seconds, at which point the indicator will turn off. If there is no operation in discharging mode for 35 seconds, the indicator will automatically turn off. To maintain balance and prolong the module's lifespan when charging and discharging simultaneously, it is recommended to enable both input and output.
