The DFRobot Indoor ENS160 Air Quality Sensor - I2C is a specialized device designed for monitoring indoor air quality. It is built on the innovative ENS160 sensor chip from ScioSense. This sensor is capable of detecting multiple indoor air quality data such as Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC), equivalent Carbon Dioxide (eCO2), and Air Quality Index (AQI).
The sensor integrates the groundbreaking TrueVOC technology and metal oxide (MOX) technology, which endows it with superior accuracy, rapid response, and anti-interference capabilities. The ENS160 is equipped with intelligent on-chip algorithms that allow it to output comprehensive and easily comprehensible environmental data.
To ensure optimal performance and accuracy, it is recommended to preheat the sensor for three minutes before use. The sensor also features a built-in automatic baseline correction algorithm, which guarantees its long-term stability.
